Zerbee’s Return Policy

Most purchases can be returned for a refund (see below for details). We have the kind of customer service we would expect ourselves.  Because your satisfaction is important to us we work hard to make sure you’re happy.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  An RMA is necessary for ALL returns.   Please follow the procedures outlined below for a smooth return transaction.  Do not return to our sales office as this will result in a 30% restocking fee (this is only for those who return items to our sales office instead of the address given with the RMA). 

Easy as 1-2-Zerbee Return Procedures

  1. Log into your Zerbee account and click "My Account" at the top of any page.  Click the Order Number containing the item(s) you'd like to return.  Check the boxes next to the SKU numbers you'd like to return and click the "Return Items" button.  Fill out the short form and click "Submit".  We'll take it from there.  It can take up to a full business day before you will receive your RMA so please be patient, we haven't forgotten you.    Remember, products returned without an RMA cannot be refunded.
  2. Once we’ve provided your RMA number and a return address (please don’t ship back to our customer service office, we will provide an address for you), carefully repackage the items to be returned.  Write the RMA number on the outside of the shipping box (never on the product packaging itself).
  3. Send the items to the return shipping address we’ve provided using a carrier who offers proof of delivery (like UPS, FedEx, or Priority Mail).
  4. In about three weeks after the receipt of your return, you should see your credit appear on your credit card statement.

RMA's are generally sent within 48-72 hours (business days, weekends not included).

Don't forget!

  • A Return Authorization is required for all returns.  Returns without an RMA may be returned to you at your cost.  Please follow the below procedures to make the return of your order easy, breezy.

  • Return it to the hive.  All returns should be shipped to the warehouse on your packing slip or the address we send you when we issue your RMA.

  • Returns should be in their original packaging and in resalable condition.

Please note that shipping charges will not be refunded.

When a returned order total is over $77, upon return we will refund the cost of the products minus the cost of shipping for the original order.  

I Ordered the Wrong Item or Changed my Mind…What Should I Do?

If you ordered the wrong item or simply changed your mind; just give us a call within 15 days and we’ll be happy to help you return it (see below for exclusions).  On some products shipped directly from manufacturers, a restocking fee or different return time frame may apply.  Also note that you are responsible for return shipping charges or freight charges, whichever apply.

Phone orders where you were helped in selecting a product fit into this category.  While we do our best to advise on the correct items for you, we are not responsible for "free" returns when that product isn't exactly what you wanted.  Customers are still responsible for such returns.

Zerbee cannot guarantee packaging.  We update our images as they become available from distributors and manufacturers.  At times a manufacturer will change what the packaging looks like on a product while the actual product is as described on the site.  We cannot guarantee the packaging and will not pay for return shipping because of such changes.

Remember, all returns must be 100% intact, with all original packaging, manuals, registration cards, etc so we can easily put our Zerbee items back on the shelves.

The Product I Ordered Arrived Defective, Damaged, Defective or something is missing…What Should I Do?

Zerbee is so sorry if you received a damaged or defective product.  We ship all of our products from our distribution centers in new condition as if you were picking it off the store shelf yourself.  So don’t worry, we will take care of this for you.  If you received such an item please contact the hive at 855-493-7233 or email us at  We will arrange for an RMA and return shipping.  Please contact us within three days of receipt for fast and easy return.   For missing products, we need to hear from you within 48 hours.

For HON Furniture damaged and defective goods, warranty includes replacement of parts not return of product or credit of order.

Electronic items that connect to Wi-Fi are returnable but at the customer's expense.  Connecting to any individual Wi-Fi network can often be a tricky or delicate issue which means that we cannot know if there are issues of "user error".  For that reason, we will accept returns but we will not pay for return shipping on such items.

Orders Refused

Undamaged orders which are refused delivery or picked up will have shipping costs deducted from any refund.  For freight orders that are refused, you will be charged shipping charges to your location, any storage fees by the freight company as well as return shipping charges.  Freight charges are very expensive so it is advisable to not refuse shipments.  This applies whether or not you paid for shipping charges in your order. 

Non-Returnable items

Unfortunately, not all items are covered by our return policy.  We are unable to accept returns on the following products:  HON furniture, Flash Furniture, Bush Furniture,  custom products from Holland Bar Stool Company, opened software, any toner or ink cartridge, electronics, business machines, food, beverages, medical products once used, cleaning supplies, paper, ring binders, pharmaceuticals, vacuum cleaners, assembled or installed furniture, special order items, custom or made to order products.  Also, any dated products such as tax forms, calendars, appointment books, business journals, diaries, desk calendars, desk pad calendars, wall planners or planners are not returnable and sales are final.

No returns can be accepted 30 days following the issuance of an RMA. 

*Restocking Fees

Unfortunately, there are some products where we’ll need to pass along a restocking fee that is imposed by manufacturers.  These only apply to those products that come directly from manufacturers.  The restocking fee is generally 15-25% and almost always apply to those products shipping directly from the manufacturer.  They include such manufacturers such as (but not limited to):

School Supply returns also incur a 25% restocking charge and must be received to the appointed warehouse within 30 days.
